The final hill from last weekend

Looking back at that last hill

Across the hill and around the tree

Marion has found the root of the problem

she had to remove it to make way for our new steps

Lunch break

at least we‘re in the shade

After lunch it‘s back to moving big rocks

Jeff and Joe taking the lead

Looking downhill from the Long Path

this last steep section may need twenty steps. The pic makes it look much easier than it is.

Bill takes control of the belay

Joe points his finger and lights up the rock

Joe has super powers

As always our steps will be level

coming up to the final turn

Bob Stien has our attention

Jeff getting ready to set another step

Now it‘s Peter‘s turn to be polecat

with expert supervision and guidance, Peter is going to go up the ladder

Hold on everyone, don‘t let the ladder fall

actually they‘re just standing it up straight so they can lower it the top section down

Elijah making a step base using a pick mattock

proud mom Laura looks on

This step sure needed a lot of crush

did I mention that Marty likes making crash, this area kept him busy

Around the tree and up to the final turn

Sunday morning, and everything is green

it‘s gonna be a hot one today, somewhere around 92

Charlie is here, a big Hello & Welcome back

we sure did miss him

Safety meeting in the shade

a safety meeting is very important before we start out on a hot day
